A Cat In Its Castle Has Lion's Teeth : An Open Letter to ProfessorJames O.I Ayatse - Comr. Yusuf U. Dutsin-Ma

By Comr. Yusuf Umar Dutsin-Ma
With regard Sir Prof., I will open my memoranda with a Sierra Leone extract that “A Clear Thinking Leader is a Sign of Stability and an Agent for Change in Society”.

But looking into your style of leadership, one will believe me that you’re such a leader who intends to leave behind a bad reputation rather than its vice. Mr. James, you of all people should know that ‘Rats don’t Dance in the Cat’s doorway’, although that’s what you have been doing since your appointment as the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Dutsin-ma.

Sir Ayatse, I humbly write this to notify you that the people of Katsina State in general and those of Dutsin-ma Local Government could not be taken for GRANTED!!

Your deliberate commissions and omissions that amount to gross misconduct and breach of the oath of office led to rigorous complaints, petitions, protests and even judicial proceedings. Your actions and inactions are a grave violation of our laws.

Sir, the issue of your gross misconduct and breach of the oath of office is currently the most leading topic of discussion on Social Medias, though many of us believed that, the protection you enjoyed from the past administrations of Jonathan and Shema were the factors that enables you to perpetrate numerous heinous offences against the public service rules, many legislations and even our 1999 constitution as amended.

For now, you gotta put this in your mind that ‘After the storm there’ll be a rainbow’. The era of impunity has come to an end in Nigeria. It’s therefore as matter of urgency; I humbly, meekly and
respectfully crave for your Resignation honourably.
A stitch in time, they said saves nine!!

State House of Assembly collected bribes from commissioner nominees

An N2.4 million bribery scam is rocking the Delta State House of Assembly. SaharaReporters learned that the Speaker, Monday Igbuya, and other members of the State House of Assembly allegedly collected N200,000 bribes from the twelve commissioner nominees forwarded by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for “screening.” Confiding in a SaharaReporters correspondent, a senior management staff person of the State’s House of Assembly who did not want to be named disclosed that one of the commissioner nominees told him in confidence how the twelve nominees’ arms were twisted to pay N200,000 each. The ultimatum was that without the N200,000 none of them would be cleared by the lawmakers. However, the source said, “If you were around during their screening on the floor of the House, you would have noticed that all the nominees were only told to take a bow” and to go. An aide to one of the commissioners who pleaded anonymity confided in SaharaReporters that the money was definitively give

The Eight Demand By Borno Elders

The Borno Elders Forum made the following demands from the Federal Government of Nigeria, the United Nations and the International community. 1. A National Judicial Commission of Inquiry under an incorruptible judge from preferably the Southern Nigeria be set up to ask the immediate past President questions on why his administration refused to provide the military with the required functional and superior equipment whereas our sons and daughters were exposed to mass murder, severe injuries and grave destruction of our communities 2. If the former Government is found wanting it should be charged for genocide against the people of Borno State or at least criminal negligence at the International Criminal Court of Justice. 3. The retired CDS retired should also be asked why he kept silent when the military under his command was not provided with the right equipment. He had the option of speaking or resigning as he ought to have done in order to draw attention of the worl

The Truth About Zakzaki And His Islamic Movement Of Nigeria - Abdullahi Yusuf

By Abdullahi Yusuf  Abuja The recent happings in Zaria regarding the  Islamic Movement of Nigeria  Army clash m a y have come to some people as a surprise, with some citizens describing the group as an unarmed and peaceful group. But it is never a surprise to especially those living in the northern part of the country especially those  who   live  in Zaria, Kaduna, katsina, Kano Sokoto  and other Northern States . There is no one who lives in the north that will ascribe peace to  this group  of peaple who operate with impunity, without regard s to  other people’s right. Before I go into the details of so many incidences involving these people in different parts of the north, let me state here that the account am about to give, is the truth about these people. Let me also state here that telling lies is permitted under the doctrine of the Shiites sect, therefore their account of what happened may not be the truth of what actually happened between them and the Nigeria Army.
