Re: Borno State Government Still Don't Have X-ray, Scanning Etc Machines In Their Hospitals By Abba Sec. Maina

I COMRADE MAHMUD MUHAMMAD NAMED MY ARTICLE AS MUST OF BORNO STATE YOUTHS ARE DESTRUCTIVE IN THEIR CRITICISM AND NOT CONSTRUCTIVE

First and foremost, let me start by recalling the readers' mind the Award His Excellency Hon. Kashim Shettima receives from Mr.  Bill Gates Foundation and the World Health Organisation for his outstanding commitment that is evident in the sector of health care delivery in Borno State.

As the Secretary of Borno Social Media Frontiers (BSF), I must give tribute to His Excellency, the Most Sympathetic Governor of Nigeria, Hon. Kashim Shettima for his outstanding performance and commitment in the health care delivery of Borno State.

My attention was drawn that, some unscrupulous elements who are Abuja base politicians are busy DESTRUCTIVELY condemning the effort of our outstanding Governor and the state at-large. They are busy fabricating, a mere  propaganda about our dear state Borno.

One Abba Sec Maina posted an article on facebook dated 7th March, 2016 that Borno State hospitals does not have X-RAY and other radiographic machines.

May I use this same prestigious avenue of communication, a medium in which everyone has equal right of communication without cacophonous distraction that, the allegation is not just  baseless but a glaring propaganda aimed at destructing the present administration under the able leadership of His Excellency Hon Kashim Shettima.

Therefore, i want to use this medium to call on the members of the public that His Excellency Hon Kashim Shettima is committed in transforming and upgrading  Borno State and he will not be persuade  by those mischief makers and blackmailers because of their selfish and egocentric ambition and not  the interest of Borno.

Lastly,  the law abiding citizens of Borno and offcourse members of social Media around the world should disregard any rumour that has no element of truth and re-embark on prayers  for total peace to reign in Borno and the Nation by extension.

Thank you for taking your time.

Comrade Mahmud Muhammad
Secretary General, BSF

State House of Assembly collected bribes from commissioner nominees

An N2.4 million bribery scam is rocking the Delta State House of Assembly. SaharaReporters learned that the Speaker, Monday Igbuya, and other members of the State House of Assembly allegedly collected N200,000 bribes from the twelve commissioner nominees forwarded by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for “screening.” Confiding in a SaharaReporters correspondent, a senior management staff person of the State’s House of Assembly who did not want to be named disclosed that one of the commissioner nominees told him in confidence how the twelve nominees’ arms were twisted to pay N200,000 each. The ultimatum was that without the N200,000 none of them would be cleared by the lawmakers. However, the source said, “If you were around during their screening on the floor of the House, you would have noticed that all the nominees were only told to take a bow” and to go. An aide to one of the commissioners who pleaded anonymity confided in SaharaReporters that the money was definitively give...

BUHARI: TURNING APPOINTMENTS INTO DISAPPOINTMENTS

By Jaafar Jaafar Ponder over this Hausa proverb: “sawun keke ba’a gane gabanka”, which roughly translates to “a bicycle’s contact patch does not tell where it comes from or where it heads to”, and see how it aptly describes Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari. Bearing in mind the current realities in our polity, how would you, in your wildest dream, think the Secretary to the Government of the Federation will come from the North? The very North that has a President, a Senate President, a Speaker, a Head of Service, a Chief of Staff, a Chief Justice, and what not? While Mr. President is likened to the proverbial “sawun keke”, the pigmentation of his appointments may be likened to “birgimar hankaka”, literally meaning the wallow of a pied crow. When a pied crow wallows, the Hausa say, you will see both the white patch on its gullet and the black plumage that covers most of the bird’s body. In the appointment of the GMD of NNPC, President Buhari showed Nigeria...

President Obama Gave President Buhari Names Of Oil Thieves

U.S. President Barack Obama meets with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari in the Oval Office of the White House in Washington, DC, on July 20, 2015. SAUL LOEB/AFP/Getty Images The U.S. government allegedly gave Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari the names of Nigerian oil thieves who have been stealing and illegally stockpiling the West African nation’s oil. U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration provided Buhari with the names last week when the Nigerian leader was visiting the White House, according to a Nigerian newspaper that cited presidential sources. A member of the Nigerian president’s entourage told the Punch that Buhari was shocked by the names, and it could prompt him to probe the administration of former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, who was widely accused of corruption. “I can tell you that the president ...
