Anthony Martial's superb start at Manchester United has been recognised by the Premier League, who have named him the Player of the Month for September.
Martial is the first United player to claim the award since R V Persie in April 2013 - the only other Red to have received the honour in the last four years.
The United No.9 beat off competition from teammate Daley Blind, Watford striker Odion Ighalo, Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris, West Ham United playmaker Dimitri Payet and Leicester City attacker Jamie Vardy.
Martial, 19, scored an unforgettable debut goal to clinch United's three points against Liverpool and a week later hit a brace in their 3-2 win at Southampton, when he received the man of the match award.
