IS ALL OVER - Chibueze Iheukwumere C Ihejirika

ISLAMISATION of Pa Edwin Clark - Chibueze Iheukwumere C Ihejirika
With this ISLAMISATION of Pa Edwin Clark the acclaimed GEJ's Political Godfather and his coming out to openly accept the facts of almost everything I had advocated as the wrongs and woeful failures of the Goodluck Jonathan's administration since 2011, I hereby declare thus;
* In correcting Pa Clack, I would rather say A very Corrupt man can actually pretend to be a gentle man, A gentleman can also be a Corrupt man and A Corrupt gentleman cannot make a good leader and president!
* That most JonaTANians who argued and debated in defence of GEJ regarding his clear misrule of Nigeria were working from the angle of deep rooted ignorance.
They were grossly fooled by 16 yrs of PDP Propaganda designed to sustain the party in power to carry on with heartless treasury looting and reign of impunity!
With more revelations of record shattering looting escapades of the GEJ era superpowers leaking out every other day, it should only be an act of natural instinct for these JonaTANians to shield their ignorance and join the army of Nigerians who desire and pray for a better responsibly governed country for the good of all Nigerians!
Our petty ethno-religious biases have in no verifiable ways improved the living standards of the average Nigeria rather we had in the resultant disunity they brought erroneously allowed a system where only members of Cabals accessed the best of everything on earth with whatever they are able to pilfer away from our common patrimony!
We must strive to put that dark era behind us for good!
I once again salute all those who persistently agitated against the evil forces bedevilling Nigeria's development and progress!
Viva Nigeria!
GOD Bless Nigeria!!!

BUHARI: TURNING APPOINTMENTS INTO DISAPPOINTMENTS

   By Jaafar Jaafar Ponder over this Hausa proverb: “sawun keke ba’a gane gabanka”, which roughly translates to “a bicycle’s contact patch does not tell where it comes from or where it heads to”, and see how it aptly describes Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari. Bearing in mind the current realities in our polity, how would you, in your wildest dream, think the Secretary to the Government of the Federation will come from the North? The very North that has a President, a Senate President, a Speaker, a Head of Service, a Chief of Staff, a Chief Justice, and what not? While Mr. President is likened to the proverbial “sawun keke”, the pigmentation of his appointments may be likened to “birgimar hankaka”, literally meaning the wallow of a pied crow. When a pied crow wallows, the Hausa say, you will see both the white patch on its gullet and the black plumage that covers most of the bird’s body. In the appointment of the GMD of NNPC, President Buhari showed Nigeria...

DSS Arrest Over 15 Key Boko Haram Members Across Nigeria - Tony Opuiyo

No fewer than 15 key members of the boko haram sect were arrested across Nigeria by the operatives of the DSS. According to a statement by a DSS official, Tony Opuiyo, said the infiltration of the terrorists into other states was a fallout of the pressure being put on the terrorists in their core areas of strength in the North-east. The statement by the DSS ; In line with the Department of State Services’, DSS, re-strategised Counter Terrorism measures to combat the menace of the Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria, the Service has continued to make significant breakthroughs in this direction. This followed the rounding up of notable commanders and frontline members of the notorious group from different parts of the country. It should be noted that the group’s new pattern of movement and spread is necessitated by the pressure being put on them in their core areas of strength in the North East. 2. Consequently, a number of them have been arrested in Lagos, Kano, Pla...

Re: Nigeria Letter To Gen Tukur Buratai-You Are Not The President Of Nigeria- Ladan Mohammed

Re: Nigeria Letter To Gen Tukur Buratai-You Are Not The President Of Nigeria- Ladan Mohammed By Ladan Mohammed  Angwan Kwarbai, Zaria, Kaduna State. Since the unfortunate incident of 12th December 2015 at the ancient city of Zaria, Kaduna State, some people have arrogated themselves various appellations and status all aimed at obliterating the attempted criminal but failed assassination of the Nigerian Army Chief. A case in point was a disappointing piece by a renown writer Prigenih Brimah calling for the resignation of the Army Chief and just yesterday one obscure Adeolu Ademoyo, of the Africana Studies and Research Center, Cornell University, Ithaca, NY.  Added to the spew through “a personal open letter” to the General. Ordinarily, one would care less about such things, but for the fact that they are far detached from reality and hurting our sensitivities-we the people of Zaria city and victims of the 30 years of molestation, harassment and intimidation by the le...
