A.P.C Will Soon Become History - Jatau

Bishop Emmanuel Jatau is the presiding head of Faith Hill Prophetic Assembly in Abuja and is known for his fiery but precise prophetic utterances. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo once described him as a prophet of doom because of his style of prophecy. He spoke to SUNNY IDACHABA about the new Nigeria project
As a servant of God with a prophetic eye, how do you view the state of Nigeria at this time?
First of all, I want to congratulate Nigerians over the emergence of the new leadership that God has given us. It was not man that brought President Muhammadu Buhari, the invisible hand of the Almighty brought him after 30 years. There is something very spectacular about the number of years it took him to return as the president of Nigeria. If you recall, he was overthrown in 1985. That was 30 years ago. There is something very significant about the number. Remember, we are in 2015. If you read the scripture in Numbers 4: 37, it explains the significance of that number. Leaders that return after 30 years are indeed those that have come to serve and not to plunder. There are examples in the Bible. Joseph was promoted next to Pharoah at the age of 30, David became king at the age of 30 and Jesus began his ministry at the age of 30; priests begin their earthly service at the age of 30. (Numbers 4: 3). These are not mere coincidences. That is why the return of Buhari after 30 years means a lot for Nigeria. If Nigerians do not support him and he leaves power either by omission or commission, the country should not expect another like him until another 30 years. That means another 30 years of plundering before another man with the heart of service will come. I can speak authoritatively as a prophet that there is nothing anyone can do to him because he is on a mission. My only advice to him is that he should be very careful in the sixth and 11th months of the year. This is between June and November of every year. That is what God showed me as the danger period for him, but it can be thwarted if he heeds this advice. It’s a spiritual thing and not man made. I don’t want to mention the name of a particular cult group on the pages of newspaper but this group is so powerful that they can remove the president of any nation if they so want. They carry out this assignment between June and November every year. That is why I want President Buhari to be careful of this period. Former US President John Kennedy was killed in November, Abacha died in June, Abiola died in July. This period is very sensitive and he should be wary of it.

What are the implicationd of what you have said about President Buhari for his party, the APC?
Ordinarily, everyone knows that it was by divine arrangement that many political parties came together to form the APC. Now, I can tell you that they have finished their assignment. Any moment from now, the first thing that will happen is that some of the heavyweights in APC will not last, especially those that were used to bring President Buhari to the throne after 30 years. The reason is that many of them will not allow him to work and that would be counterproductive to the assignment he came to accomplish. God is the one to eliminate them one by one. Some would be paralysed; some will be rendered politically irrelevant. The destiny of APC is that it has not come as a party that can last long; another organisation which will metamorphose into a political party will consume it in the nearest future. APC was only used divinely to return Buhari to power; that is all. I can tell you that it will be discarded very soon.

Can you tell Nigerians whether Buhari’s detractors are those around him or outside government?
They are both in and outside the government. Many of them are in the two political parties while a few are outside the country.

What exactly is their mission and how do they intend to carry it out?
It is often said and generally believed on the earth that a good thing does not last long. It is however very important for Buhari to know it even though that is not the way of God. He has been brought out to perform a definite task for Nigeria; that task can be frustrated if he gives in without any spiritual sensitivity. On this earth, whether we like it or not, Satan rules but not in heaven; so as long as Buhari is a president on this earth, he will be a target especially with all the good things he is programmed to accomplish for the country. The good news, however, is that no power can stop him from doing what he was sent to do in Nigeria; they can only attempt to frustrate it. Whatever threat anyone tries to use against Buhari will not work because God is with him. In Buhari’s time, a number of evil Bishops and fake men of God and money bag pastors would be exposed, especially those parading themselves seeking prominence around the corridors of power. They will try to get at him through some young military officers of Niger Delta extraction and when that fails, they will attempt through a sniper. To a large extent, his presidential jet would also be a target. All he needs is prayer and sensitivity.

What do you think the president should do to ensure that he carries out his mandate to Nigerians?
The first and most important is to ensure that there is peace. Even if he succeeds in making every Nigerian a billionaire and there is no peace, he would have failed. He should focus on his assignment without minding any contrary opinion. It’s not about him but about the one that sent him on this assignment for Nigeria. To a large extent, he should intensify prayers with intelligence gathering; that is the strongest weapon God said he can use to succeed. This is because these so called insurgents live within us. I can say with authority that some of the Boko Haram elements are kith and kin to senior public servants and lawmakers who are in our midst. These elements make financial requests from their sponsors in government who have no option but to send them the money. The same people are the ones causing great havoc in the society. It only takes guts and determination as well as intelligence gathering to fish them out. Let me use this opportunity to advice the president that if he will succeed in his fight against corruption, he should engage men of proven integrity, like Pastor Tunde Bakare, to help in the fight against the menace. That also goes for a credible person as attorney general so that he can have less work to do in that regard.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo once described you as a prophet of doom. Is the former president’s the impression of you correct?
Any prophet that speaks based on his own sentiment would not last. I can only speak based on what God shows me. For example, God says traders should be very careful from now till the end of the year because of armed robbery attacks. If I say something like that, is that prophesying doom? It’s only a warning. In the same way, God has shown me that former president Jonathan should watch himself against failing health even as there will be burials of two former governors who served with Jonathan soon. As far as possible, Ministries of Finance nationwide should be well secured because God has shown me that soon, they will be gutted by sporadic fire just to cover up. President Buhari, should try as much as possible to avoid receiving chieftaincy titles. This is what God has shown me. Now, when I say all of these, do they appear as doom?

Finally sir, what is the spiritual implication of the new alliance between Nigeria and the West, especially the US?
It is a good development. In fact, if he can remain with the US, it will be better for the country. The Lord said, “Beware of Russia, stay with America and see the wonders I will perform through you.”
